Solitude

I enjoy my time alone. Solitude motivates me and clears my mind. This has nothing to do with being lonely. I am not lonely, but I like my me time.

I am lucky that everyone has given me space and understands this. I cannot imagine life without having some solitude. I need it every day.

If you haven't tried solitude, try it. I will change the way you think and see things. You need to give your mind time to calm down and relax. You don't need stimulation all the time. Log off the computer, turn off all notifications, close all chats and find a quiet place.

No podcasts or music playing in the background. Nothing.

See how you feel. It will be very uncomfortable in the beginning. The mind will want you to do things. Play that song, watch that video, and open that social app. Resist it for a bit. Then a bit more.

Revelation!
