Little Breaks
Last weekend, I drove down to the western ghats region of Karnataka for a family event. It was a welcome break from the city life in general.
Four days of fun, driving, happiness and food. It was awesome.
The slow life of people living in these remote areas have fancied me in a way that I cannot wait to find a little place for myself in the area and move there. Away from the bustle and fast life of a city.
Was a nostalgic experience visiting places similar to the ones I spent my childhood. Life was boring back then and that's why it was good. We are afraid to be bored these days. Extracting the last amount of dopamine from our phones and computers to avoid feeling bored.
We should get bored, more often. And slow down, a lot.
