Unchanged can be comfortable
I work from coffee shops sometimes. My favourite coffee shop is about 4kms away. I have been visiting the place for the past 7 years. It hasn't changed that much and I love that.
There is a reason you say don't change to someone you care about. Unchanged is comfortable.
All aspects of life have a shelf life of 5 years in the current world. It is refreshing to see something last for over that time. It is comfortable.
All other coffee shops have changed a lot. The decor, the seating, the menu. But I go back to the one that did none of that.
It is comfortable.
