Watch your beliefs

I recently watched a video. A horse trainer pretends to tie a noose around a horse using a non-existent rope. The horse starts moving in the direction the trainer wanted it to go. It believed that there was a real physical rope around it.

Science calls this phenomenon learned helplessness.

In humans, limiting beliefs prevent us from taking risks and bringing about changes. It prevents you from finishing that article, starting that video channel and applying for that dream role.

Some of these are essential guides to our acceptable social behaviours. Others can prevent progress in life.

Usually the blockers are self doubt, caring much about what others think, fear of change etc.

Identify and course correct.
